Mistress of the Art of Death by Ariana Franklin

For those who enjoy a good murder mystery, you definitely need to give this book a read! Mistress of the Art of Death by Ariana Franklin was published in 2008 but is still pretty easy to find with an online search. Set during medieval times, Adelia is a forensic expert who is asked by King Henry II to solve a series of gruesome murders. The author does an excellent job of keeping everything period appropriate, which adds to the enjoyment of the tale. A perfect October read!
