Essay Contest Guidelines

The submission process has begun! It will run through August 31 and the winner will be announced in September. Here is the information for which you've been waiting:

Prizes:

1. $250 cash for the most inspiring essay.

Simple Rules:

1. The essay must be originally written by you.

2. The essay can be up to 2,000 words long.

3. No artificial intelligence (AI) allowed; we want to be inspired by you!

Topic:

Write about an experience that is inspiring. It can be a personal experience or something you know that happened. Fictional stories are accepted, as well. The important thing is for the reader to be inspired by the story!

Do you see your essay play through your mind as a short film? For a small additional charge, your essay will be reviewed for script potential by the award-winning Southwest Film Productions!

Entry fees:

1. $20 for the essay contest.

2. Additional $10 for script review (optional upgrade).

The contest will run from August 1 through August 31. The winner will be announced in September.
